Boil water advisory lifted!

Great news for users of the Comox Valley water system. The boil water advisory that was put in place on January 29th has been lifted.

Comox Valley Regional District spokesperson Koreen Gurak says the water in the system is now safe to drink and falls within drinking water guidelines.

Those affected by the boil water advisory included residents in Courtenay, Comox, and the Comox Valley, Arden, Marsden/Camco, Greaves Crescent and England Road local water service areas.

Cumberland and Royston residents were not affected as those areas run on a different water system.
