The BC Coroner’s Service has identified the victim of a Comox trailer fire.
The incident happened at around 4 AM on February 8th.
Regional Coroner Barb McLintock says the victim was 91-year-old Alexander Ackerman. She says neighbors noticed that Ackerman’s double-wide on Lazo Road was on fire and notified emergency crews.
McLintock says the investigation into the cause of the fire is still underway and that Ackerman’s family has been notified about the incident.
