Cumberland extends deadline for heritage survey

The Village of Cumberland has extended the deadline for feedback on heritage values in the Village.

Mayor Leslie Baird says it’s important that council hears from residents as it develops a heritage management plan. She notes it’s important to protect the historical assets of the Village, especially for future generations in Cumberland.

Baird says it’s at the discretion of council to decide what is looked at, and it’s important to get feedback from the entire community before further steps are taken.

The survey can be found on the Village’s website. The deadline for feedback is Thursday, June 30th.
