Nothing decided on this one, and no serious discussions yet, but Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula has proposed the use of Courtenay’s Harmston Park as a local farmers market.
Jangula says the park could be a year round venue for a farmers market, but so far the proposal hasn’t gained much traction…

In downtown Courtenay, the Comox Valley Farmers Market has set up shop on Wednesday mornings from 8:30 to 12:30, from July through August on England Avenue, between 5th and 6th Streets.
