Vancouver Island Visitor Centre going full tilt
Busy times for the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre, with non stop tourism traffic, as visitors stop by to plan out their stay in the region.
Manager Linda Yaritz says they are seeing a lot more American visitors with the low Canadian dollar.
Yaritz says over 15-hundred visitors have come through the centre already this month alone, and over 15-thousand people have checked out the centre, since their doors opened for the season in March.
Yaritz says visitors have checked out numerous major events in the valley.
Over 103-thousand visitors have stopped by the Vancouver Island Visitor Centre since their grand opening back in 2012.
