Courtenay Fire crews made their way to Forbidden Plateau Road yesterday, responding to a single-vehicle motor-vehicle accident. Deputy Fire Chief Kurt McDonald says they responded to the scene at around quarter after 5:00 PM. He says they found a car in the ditch on the side of the road.
McDonald says the young male driver’s injuries appeared to be minor when he was extricated from the vehicle. McDonald adds the biggest issue was the car being stuck in the ditch.
McDonald says it appears as though the male driver lost control of the vehicle and he adds Comox Valley RCMP continue their investigation into that accident on Forbidden Plateau Road.
