For the past couple of months, transit users have been riding the bus and snapping a selfie in the process. It’s all been a part of the Comox Valley Regional District and Comox Valley Transit In2Transit campaign.
Spokesperson Pieter Vorster says the campaign is going well and transit services have been heavily involved with the community.
Vorster says using transit services in the Comox Valley has many perks.
The In2Transit contest closes on November 15th. Vorster says he hopes the campaign can make a return to the Comox Valley next year and build some momentum for similar ideas going forward. You can find out more about the campaign at in2transit.ca.
In addition, on the October 19th election day, ride transit on your way to or from the polling stations, snap a selfie as you normally would, but add the hashtag #IVoted for a chance to win some other prizes through the In2Transit campaign.
