Just a heads up from the city of Courtenay’s engineering department, traffic delays on Lerwick Road are expected to increase for the next two weeks due to paving.
The Lerwick Road Widening Project has been ongoing since September 8th.
The Lerwick Road construction project will add an extra lane and other improvements to a section of Lerwick Road. between Malahat Drive and the entrance to Thrifty Foods Crown Isle Plaza.
Hours of work are 7:00 am to 5:00 pm weekdays. Further information can be found through the city of Courtenay’s website.
