Mounties remind drivers to keep windows clear

RCMP are reminding motorists to fully clear their windshields before leaving for work.

Constable Rob Gardner says Mounties are seeing lots of drivers who are not taking the time to scrape or defrost their windshields.

He says drivers need to wait until their windshield is fully clear before hitting the road.

Gardner says drivers need to give themselves more time in the morning.

Gardner says pedestrians also need to wear bright reflective clothing and follow the rules of the road.

He notes that you can be fined for driving with an obstructed view. That fine is $109.
