BC Hydro working with the city of Courtenay on flood risk management

Recent heavy rainfall in the Comox Valley has led to rising water levels in the Puntledge River system.

BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says Hydro is working closely with city of Courtenay officials on flood risk management.

Watson says they’re keeping an eye on the forecast.

The Comox Valley Regional District has also issued a boil water advisory for users of the Comox Valley water system.
