The family of the Azer children is asking residents to write to their Member of Parliament in support of returning the children to Canada.

The four Comox Valley kids were allegedly abducted by their father in August and taken overseas.

The children’s aunt, Elizabeth van Egteren says the kids have been found in Northern Iraq, and they are now working on getting them returned to their mother.

van Egteren says the support the family has received as been overwhelming.

van Egteren says now that Parliament is back in session, she’s hoping the government will be able to step in and facilitate the children’s return to Canada.
