Brief break from storms, but another on the way

Environment Canada is forecasting another system to hit the region.
Meteorologist Matt MacDonald says the wind and rain will pick up starting Thursday afternoon, but it won’t be as intense as previous storms.
He says the freezing level is set to drop to around 300 meters, meaning the rain could turn to snow in some areas.
MacDonald says the recent rains brought 210 millimeters to the Comox Airport, which is more than we usually get in the entire month of December.
