The air quality advisory has been lifted in the Comox Valley, and meteorologists say it was caused by a temperature inversion.

Environment Canada’s Michel Gelinas says residents can expect to see milder temperatures as we go further into this week.

Gelinas says we won’t be seeing much snow at sea level in the next few days.

Gelinas says today, they’re expecting rain and wind throughout the region. But there will still be snow at higher elevations, so your plans to hit the slopes won’t be affected by the milder weather.
