The Comox Valley RCMP have arrested the suspect involved in a Thursday night home invasion. The incident happened on Doyle Road in Black Creek.
Comox Valley RCMP Constable Rob Gardner says the investigation revealed that the suspect threatened the home owner and stole 3 handguns, 3 rifles, 2 firearm barrels and ammunition.
Gardner says the suspect fled on foot and officers lost track near the intersection of Doyle Road and Islak. It’s believed the suspect then fled in a vehicle.
Mounties would like to thank the public for their assistance in helping locate the suspect.
