New exhibit opens at Comox Museum

The Comox Museum has a new exhibit.

Yesterday, town Mayor Paul Ives cut the ribbon to mark the opening of the 102nd Battalion Exhibit at the museum.

The 102nd Battalion trained at Goose Spit, and took part in many important battles during World War 1 including the Battle at Vimy Ridge.

Ives says the exhibit is an excellent addition to the town. He notes the Battle of Vimy Ridge is referred to by many as “the battle that turned Canada into a Nation”.

The exhibit is open all year long. The museum is located at 1729 Comox Avenue in Comox.
