The following story courtesy the Comox Valley RCMP.
On March 26th, 2016 at 7:33 am, the Comox Valley RCMP received a report of a single vehicle collision on the 1700 block of Little River Road. The single occupant was a 29 year old male firefighter with CFB Comox. He was located dead on the scene.
The vehicle had left the roadway, striking a tree. The time of the collision is unknown, but is believed this incident had occurred several hours before being reported. Speed appears to have been a factor.
The investigation into this collision is ongoing with the assistance of the RCMP Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, Comox Valley RCMP Municipal Traffic section and the British Columbia Coroners Service.
The Comox Valley RCMP are requesting that if anyone has any information regarding this collision, or saw a Silver Acura in the area, to please contact them at 250-338-1321 and cite file number 2016-3256.
