The third draft of Comox’s financial plan has been presented to council.
Mayor Paul Ives says staff is hopeful the budget can be finalized by May 4th.
Projects in the work this year include the Comox Marina Vitalization project, work on Robb Avenue and the Lazo Road-Port Holmes restoration project.
Ives says that overall, staff is satisfied that the budget will allow crews to work on all these projects.

Ives says staff is looking at a 2.7% residential tax increase and a 1.7% commercial tax increase.
The financial plan would last through to 2020.
