Province invests $1.1 million towards protection of Comox shoreline

The province is committing over $1-million to a shoreline restoration and protection project in Comox.

The work will help reduce flooding and the on-going foreshore erosion adjacent to the Lazo Road shoreline.

Comox Mayor Paul Ives says this is a winning situation for the entire community.

Local MLA Don McRae says the work is very important to the community.
