Project Watershed doing work in waters near Courtenay Airpark

Project Watershed is continuing its work to improve vegetation and water habitat in the Comox Valley.

Spokesperson Jennifer Sutherst says that the group is planting two new salt-marsh islands with native vegetation just outside the lagoon at the Courtenay Airpark.

Sutherst says all volunteers are welcome. She notes that this is the ideal time of year to do this work.

Sutherst says you can contact Project Watershed to find out how to get involved.
