BC Hydro will be testing out the sirens along the Puntledge River system tomorrow (Wednesday, April 27) to make sure they’re working properly in case of an emergency situation.
BC Hydro spokesperson Stephen Watson says public safety is very important to the company, and the siren test is something they do every year.
He notes that Hydro will also be conducting water flow tests on Thursday.
Watson says the public should stay away from the Puntledge River system tomorrow and Thursday.
