Residents will soon see an outdoor patio at Billy D’s Pub & Bistro in Courtenay.
At tonight’s council meeting, councilors decided to allow for a pilot project that will see an outdoor patio put in at the 5th street restaurant.
Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula says this is something that’s been successful in other communities.
Jangula says there have been some concerns when it comes to lost parking spaces.
