School district to discuss land swap

The Comox Valley School District is beginning consultations tonight on a proposed land swap between local governments in the region.

The Regional District has approached the school board about the possibility of building new offices on the land next to the school board office.

Acting Secretary Treasurer Sheldon Lee says the lands in question are owned by the city, the school board and the CVRD.

The first consultation meeting takes place tonight at the school board office, starting at 7.
