Getting set for classes at NIC

North Island College is reminding students to be prepared before the start of classes.

NIC spokesperson Christiana Wiens says students should plan to attend orientation to meet their instructors, fellow students, purchase textbooks, and join the kick-off activities.

Wiens says at the Comox Valley campus there will be a free lunch, employer fair, as well as a Pokemon Go contest for students to take part in. She says orientation is a great way to get everything organized before the semester begins.

Orientation will take place on Tuesday, September 6th.
