Second proponent to replace Buffalo will build training centre in Comox
The Mayor of Comox is welcoming the news that the second proponent to replace the military’s fixed-wing search and rescue planes plans to build its training centre in Comox.

Paul Ives says he learned the other company has also made that commitment, which is great news for the region.
The federal government is expected to make a decision on a supplier for the new plane this fall.
