RCMP is reminding people to not leave valuables in vehicles.
Mounties have received 24 calls about thefts from vehicles in the last week.
Constable Rob Gardner says it’s important to make sure vehicles are locked and to also not leave valuables in plain sight. Gardner says RCMP also responded to six break and enters in a week.
He’s reminding people to keep doors and windows secure and to also report any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood to RCMP.

Gardner says along with keeping ground-level windows and doors locked, also make sure you don’t leave ladders outside which might allow thieves access to second story windows.
