A new year-long export pilot project will help local businesses in the Comox Valley. The Export Navigator program is being funded with more than $500,000 from the Federal government.
Comox Valley MLA Don McRae says it will see 4 communities receive export advisors through local economic development societies.
McRae says there is no doubt in his mind that the Comox Valley Economic Development Society is very prominent on the international scene and carries its weight in business.
The other communities chosen for the Export Navigator pilot project are Prince George, Vernon and Port Alberni.
