Clean Water and Wastewater Fund invests in Comox Valley

The provincial government is providing some funding to two Comox Valley water treatment systems.

The Clean Water and Wastewater Fund enables crucial investments in community infrastructure, specifically supporting long-term benefits in rehabilitating drinking water, wastewater and storm-water systems.

As part of the funding, the Comox Valley Water Supply System Treatment Project is getting $4,359,990, while the Black Creek-Oyster Bay Water Supply Security Project is receiving $564,815.

Comox Valley MLA Don McRae says this is part of an ongoing larger plan by the province to ensure residents have access to clean and safe drinking water.
