People who use BC ferries will have something to smile about on Wednesday! The corporation has announced they are scrapping the fuel surcharge.
Ferries spokesperson Deborah Marshall says on Wednesday they are removing that 3.4 percent charge on ferry fares.
Marshall says they have been hearing those calls to scrap the surcharge, while at the same time keeping close tabs on market prices fuel…
She says the price customers will be paying on all ferry routes will be dropping on BC Ferries service in our region.
