A number of issues will be on the table at the next quarterly meeting of the Islands Trust Council.

It’s set for early December, but a good portion of the agenda is already hammered out.

Chair Peter Luckham says members of the Trust area are welcome to make a presentation as a delegation at the meeting, but they must notify the Trust Council in writing within the next 3 weeks.

“The reason for that is not that we’re going to be selecting individuals to speak, but just so we can manage the meeting times so that everybody has adequate time to speak and that everybody gets a fair opportunity to speak with Council.”

Luckham says the Islands Trust budget document will be released at the meeting.

The Council will also review advocacy and policy positions on a variety of topics, and consider progress on strategic priorities.
