Christmas is over, but the giving season lives on. Valley Fire Departments host tree chippings this weekend to benefit YANA (or You Are Not Alone). YANA provides accommodation for families bringing their sick kids to BC Children’s Hospital. Comox Fire Chief Gord Schreiner had this to say.

Here’s Courtenay Fire Department’s Allan Farrant on where Courtenay residents can drop off their trees.

You can also call the departments to have your tree picked up at home for a minimum donation of 5 dollars. For more information on YANA and this weekend’s event, visit yanacomoxvalley.com
