Comox Valley RCMP investigating multiple Christmas decoration thefts

COURTENAY, B.C- A Grinch is at work in the Comox Valley.

According to a news release from the local RCMP detachment, three separate incidents of vandalism or theft to Christmas decorations were reported over Dec.14 to Dec.16.

The first took place at a house in the 2800 block of Ulverston Avenue in Cumberland on Dec. 14. Overnight, several inflatable donations and Christmas lights were stolen off a lawn.

On Dec. 15, more ornaments were damaged, after an unknown amount of people went to a home in the 200 block of Centennial Drive in Courtenay. While they were at the home, several ornaments were kicked, and others stolen.

On Dec. 16, another theft of ornaments occurred after decorations were taken from the lawn of a residence in the 3300 block of Egremont Road in Cumberland.

If anyone has any information on these incidents, they are asked to contact the Comox Valley RCMP.
