Bomb blast survivor to attend public reading

She is among only a handful of international journalists to survive an Al-Qaeda attack, and this weekend in Courtenay you’ll get a chance to hear journalist Kathleen Kenna at a public reading on Canada’s long tour of duty in Afghanistan.

That free public reading goes at the Courtenay Library starting at 3 p.m on Saturday April 12th.
