COURTENAY, B.C. – Young football players interested in learning the skills of the quarterback position have the chance to attend a special camp later this month.

Former UBC Thunderbirds Coach, Jay Prepchuk, hosts the camp on Saturday, April 21 at Courtenay’s Woodcote Park.

No experience is needed, and anyone can attend. Prepchuk will also hold a talk focusing on academics and how to get a football scholarship.

Coaches are also welcome to attend. Registration for the event starts at 11 a.m., followed by drills and at noon. The camp will wrap up at around 3 p.m.
