If you’ve been curious as to why there’s been a bunch of activity at the old St. Joseph’s Hospital in Comox, you’ve come to the right place. They’re filming a brand new CBC miniseries called ‘Unspeakable‘ that tells the story of Canada’s tainted blood scandal from the 80s. I was lucky enough to speak with Sarah Wayne Callies (Lori Grimes from The Walking Dead, Dr. Sarah Tancredi from Prison Break, and Katie Bowman from Colony) about her time here in the valley, how she feels about getting to direct an episode, and how to keep a relationship in Hollywood. Oh! And be sure to catch Colony on Bravo! It airs Wednesdays at 7pm.

I also got the chance to speak with Executive Producer Robert Cooper, who was almost entirely responsible for the Stargate series. It was a whole media circus, with professional journalists asking professional questions, and then I come in…

We also got a quick tour of the old hospital set which is acting as three different hospitals across Canada. One floor was Vancouver, one was Toronto, and another was Montreal. They also filmed at the airport which acted as an airport in Sweden.
