Two men sent to hospital after Courtenay collision

COURTENAY, B.C. – Crews responded to the scene of a vehicle collision at 29th Street and Cliffe Avenue in Courtenay this afternoon.

Southbound traffic was diverted onto the Comox Valley Parkway, while both northbound lanes remained open following the crash at around 2:30 p.m.

Two ambulances were called to the scene, and two men were sent to hospital with non life-threatening injuries.

No other details are known at this time, including the cause of the collision.
