COURTENAY, B.C. – Rainy conditions over the weekend didn’t stop people from participating in the 38th Terry Fox Run.
103 people showed up for Sunday’s event. The runners managed to raise $3302 for cancer research.
Susan Bullock, the recreation manager at Active Comox Valley, says it’s a good turnout for the run despite the cold weather.
Participants started off at Simms Millennium Park, and had the option of running 1, 2, or 5 kilometres.
