COURTENAY, B.C. – The Courtenay Lawn Bowling Club is rolling into a new season with some updated digs.
Courtenay Mayor Larry Jangula and club president Michael Lynch joined club members to celebrate the opening of the renovated lawn bowling building at Bill Moore Park yesterday (Sept. 20).
Over the past few years, a series of upgrades have expanded the size of the building with a new kitchen facility, washrooms (including an accessible washroom), beverage serving area, and larger deck area.
Club members and the community at large now have access to a modernized rental facility, including an updated kitchen, according to the club.
