COMOX, B.C. – The Town of Comox wants residents to be prepared and ensure the fall season goes by without incident.

Weather is projected to be filled with sunshine this week, but ahead of a potential stormy autumn, the town is offering some tips to residents.

Officials are asking residents to clear leaves from storm drains. This helps avoid flooding.

“Please also do not deposit or blow leaves on the road way as our limited staff and equipment do not allow for prompt removal,” read the notice.

Questions can be directed towards the Town of Comox.
