Valhalla Pure Outfitters robbed, police seek suspicious truck

COURTENAY, B.C- The Comox Valley RCMP are looking for a thief in a warm jacket.

According to a notice from the local detachment, officers responded to a commercial alarm at the business in the 2800 block of Cliffe Avenue around 5:20 a.m. on Tuesday. They found that there had been a break-in.

“Once the suspect gained entry into the business, several Arc’teryx jackets were taken,” said Constable. Monika Terragni, spokesperson for the detachment.

“Investigators have been reviewing video surveillance and saw that a grey truck was spotted in the area around the same time as the break and enter – we would like to speak with the driver of that truck.”

The detachment’s Crime Reduction Unit is continuing the investigation, and anyone with information should contact police at 250-338-1321 and refer to file 2018-14020.
