COMOX VALLEY, B.C. – It was an awesome weekend for the Comox Valley Raiders football club.

All four teams were victorious.

The Pee-Wees trounced Nanaimo 30-2, while the Junior Bantams beat Nanaimo 50-6 on a sunny Saturday afternoon. A last minute field goal stopped a shut-out, but the Bantams defeated Cowichan 30-3.

The Midgets travelled to Richmond and played a determined team, but came away with the 34-22 victory.

The four squads are back in action this Sunday, October 21st.

The Pee-Wees and Junior Bantams are against the Renegades.

The Midgets take on the Westside Warriors at Carnarvon Park, and the Bantams face the Richmond Raiders at Bill Moore Park in Courtenay.
