Additional renovations to the lobby and concession will be finished in January.

“The introduction of Premium Recliner Seating necessitates the reduction of overall theatre capacity, providing a significant increase in personal space and a more relaxing, disruption free movie-going experience,” read the release.

“Free Reserved Seating will also be part of the theatre’s premium offering.”

Bill Walker, the CEO of Landmark Cinemas Canada, said experiencing movie in recliner seating is a “gamechanger”.
