COURTENAY, B.C- The upper end of 5th Street is getting some touch-ups next week.
According to a notice from the City of Courtenay, contractors will be putting finishing touches on the 5th Street Complete Street project on Monday, with the work expected to go for two or three days.
The work will be scheduled outside of key travel times.
“During this work, crews will be adding road markings and green paint identifying cycling routes through the 5th Street and Harmston Avenue intersection and other side streets, plus bike symbols and other markings throughout the corridor,” read the notice.
“Please anticipate minor delays while the paint is drying, obey all traffic control personnel, and drive carefully around crews. Thank you.”
The route recently re-opened after major changes in the summer.
