COURTENAY, B.C. – If you enjoy sewing and helping others, the City of Courtenay has a program for you.
Sewers are urgently needed to assist adults with developmental disabilities to, according to a release, “make beautiful and unique projects.”
Volunteers are being asked to commit two hours per week for the next five weeks.
The program runs from 12:30 to 2:30 on Tuesday afternoons at the Lewis Centre, starting on April 23 and ending May 28.
