Busy times for Campbell River’s John Hart Generating Station Replacement Project, with crews at work on the rock tunnelling phase for the two underground portals.
We touched base with project spokesperson Stephen Watson.
The 1-billion dollar plus mega-project is set for completion in the fall of 2018. Right now about 185 workers are on site, with about fifty local companies on board the project.
Watson says the project is progressing on schedule.
