Emergency exercises will be taking place at the Comox Valley Airport tomorrow morning.
The simulations will help crews train to respond to an aviation fuel spill or fire at the airport.
It says 19 Wing Comox, the Comox Fire Department, the Comox Valley Emergency Program, the RCMP, and BC Emergency Health Services will all be taking part in the training.
Residents and travellers in the area may notice smoke around the terminal building throughout the morning.
It says you might also hear or see emergency vehicles travelling to and from the airport.
There will be no changes to the Comox Valley Airport operations as the result of the exercises.
The airport does say however that passengers may notice staff, volunteers and emergency personnel taking part in the simulated scenarios both inside and outside the terminal building.
