Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, some things remind us of normalcy.
For residents in the Comox Valley, that’s coming in the form of water restrictions.
Starting this Friday, the annual Stage 1 water restrictions will be introduced.
The CVRD says with many residents adhering to public health guidelines and remaining in their homes, outdoor water consumption is higher than average for this time of year.

It’s reminding you that under the Stage 1 restrictions, lawn and garden sprinkling is only permitted three days per week from 5:00am to 8:00am and 7:00pm to 10:00pm.
