A yearly tradition at Goose Spit Park won’t be happening this summer.
The 33rd annual Father’s Day Kite Fly has been cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
It was set to run on Sunday, June 21st.
Dads, moms, grandparents, friends and kids of all ages usually come out every year to celebrate all the hard-working dads.
Spectators enjoy the beach and the kites flying through the sky.
The Kite Fly typically draws about 80 to 100 participants and includes 12 prize categories like best homemade kite, youngest and oldest flyers, and more.
