Following a careful review of public health and safety guidelines, both Courtenay and Comox will be reopening spray parks on Friday, July 3rd.
The Town of Comox Rotary Splash Park in Marina Park and will be open from 10:00am to 8:00pm. Courtenay’s spray park, located at Lewis Park will be open from 10:00am to 7:00pm.
Those hours could change however, depending on maintenance requirements or future changes to water restrictions in the Comox Valley water system.
Both parks are free and open seven days a week, rain or shine and are expected to remain open throughout the summer unless public health guidelines from other authorities change.
 If you feel any sign of illness, you’re asked to stay home and if you plan to visit the park, the two communities are asking that you wash your hands regularly, before and after using the spray park.Â
Spray park equipment will not be cleaned or disinfected but washrooms at both spray parks will be open during regular hours.
