Old Island Highway is now reopened after it was closed because of a serious morning crash involving two vehicles.
It happened near Kirby Road, north of Island Truss.

Comox Valley RCMP dispatch says southbound traffic had to be redirected to Smith Road and if vehicles heading northbound had to use Bridges Road.
There was one injury reported.
