Police say Courtenay incident involving possible bear spray ‘not random’

The Comox Valley RCMP is investigating an early morning incident.

At around 2:30am Wednesday, police were called to assist paramedics at the 1800 block of Cliffe Avenue.

When they arrived, officers found two people who had been exposed to what appears to be bear spray.

Constable Monika Terragni  says police determined that this was not a random incident.
